Shervin Pishevar is a renowned business investor who is best known for his expertise in the technology entrepreneurship. He serves as the managing director and co-founder of Sherpa Ventures and as a co-founder and chairman of the Hyperloop Technologies Inc. Shervin Pishevar has held numerous senior posts in various firms where prior to his current positions, he worked at Menlo Ventures. While at Menlo ventures he served as the venture advisor and managing director which managed a venture capital over $4 billion. Further, Shervin Pishevar was the mastermind behind the launch of the Menlo talent fund which was a $20 million seed fund. Shervin Pishevar is an award-winning businessman who won the ‘Outstanding American by Choice’ award. He was chosen as one of the only 100 naturalized Americans by the U. S. government. Additionally, Shervin is a member of the UN Foundation’s global entrepreneurship and a member of the advisory board of Comscore among many others. One of his achievements is when he was 21 and co-authored a seminal article known as JAMA. This helped to document the first set of the global guidelines in the Istanbul Protocol that was adopted by the UN in 1999.
