The FAR Left is Going Mainstream

The History Channel, owned by NBC,  will air “The People Speak” on December 13th.  It’s based on the “history” book written by Marxist Howard Zinn called A People’s History of the United States. He has somehow convinced the following stars that America is a racist, homophobic, imperialistic, warmongering, evil empire run by greedy capitalists bent on keeping the average Joe down:

Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, Chris Moore, Anthony Arnove, Morgan Freeman, Jasmine Guy, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Sandra Oh, Viggo Mortensen, Marisa Tomei, Kerry Washington among others.

Music provided by:  Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Vedder, Pink, Randy Newman, Lupe Fiasco, Jackson Browne, John Legend, Taj Mahal, Allison Moorer, and Rich Robinson.

The History Channel is providing a study guide so that our kids can get this simplistic and fact challenged point of view delivered to them by their favorite stars and musicians in the classroom.

This will fit in nicely with the wack leftist The Story of Stuff that is making the rounds of our educational system.  Here our kids learn that greedy capitalists are ruining the world with pollution and exploiting everyone who just wants to live in peace with the butterflies.

The left is on the march in a big way right now.  With only 20% of the country identifying themselves as Liberal it’s amazing that they can, via the media and Hollywood, have so much influence.  I  hope that  conservatives can gain political influence and stave off this terrible wave of leftist lunacy.

Note:  Howard Zinn passed away on January 27th, 2010 of a heart attack at the age of 87.
