Illegal Immigration

The distinction always needs to be drawn between legal and illegal immigration. They are not the same at all, yet the terms are used interchangeably in the media on a regular basis. This site is of course in favor of legal immigration and advocates making the process faster and better. We will produce proposals for accomplishing this.

Illegal immigration is another matter entirely. Just to be clear, we don't hate foreigners, and it is unfortunate that such a statement even needs to be made. But it is often the case these days that those who are against illegal immigration are accused of racism or xenophobia. Although there are such people around, we believe they are a very small minority, and if they really do just "hate foreigners" they certainly are not welcome at American Platform.org.

There are many measures available to stop illegal immigration, and this site will explore and evaluate them on their merits. We'll also consider proposals for what to do about the illegals that are currently here.

We will do so with an eye toward doing what is best for all the legal American citizens.
